Source Technologies' Secure Print Module facilitates the secure storage of printer resources such as authorized signatures and specialized fonts. Companies that wish to secure authorized signatures and secure fonts can utilize this device on a single PC and printer, department- or enterprise-wide.

These resources are stored and encrypted on a Secure Print Key, and downloaded to the printer's RAM when the drive is inserted into the module. They are deleted from printer memory when the Secure Print Key is removed or the printer is reset to eliminate the risk of fraud.

Your important printer resources for check printing or other applications can be locked away for security reasons, with no long term storage in printer memory. Fonts currently stored on printer font cartridges can also be transferred to the Print Key to simplify printer upgrading.

The Secure Print Module connects via USB to any laser printer or PC, allowing data to pass through the module. The Secure Print Module can be utilized on a single printer or throughout a network of printers as illustrated below.

Its small footprint allows the module to sit directly on or next to the printer to save valuable desk space and the Secure Print Key utilizes thumb drive technology for portability and ease of use. For convenience, a green LED light is to indicate system power and when resources are downloaded.

The complete system includes the programming software, one Secure Print Key and all necessary cables. Print Keys can be preloaded with E13B MICR font, Source Technologies' Secure Numeric Font, custom overlays and signatures. Custom system programming and additional Secure Print Keys are also available.

Using the Secure Print Module to control your printing is fast and easy:

Use the Secure Print Module software to program the Secure Print Key and load your signatures, fonts, overlays, etc. onto the device.

Insert the Secure Print Key into the Secure Print Module to upload resources and allow printing of your controlled documents. The Secure Print Module can be utilized on a single PC and printer or throughout an entire network.
